Aviation Unions under the auspices of the National Union of Air Employees, NUATE Services Association of Air Transport of Upper Air Nigeria, ATSSSAN Staff, National Association of Pilots and Aircraft Engineers, NAAPE, have founded Arik Air air operations on prolonged labor issues.

The unions said the airline will continue picketing until full management allows the unionization of its employees in accordance with labor laws and with regard to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
