Free Download EFCC Accuse Suspected Fraud Contract Fraud (photos)

The Committee on Financial Crimes Today Economic and 20 December, 2016 accused a Jamilu Yunusa Yahaya Galadanci before the Supreme Court of Kano on a charge of conspiracy and seven counts of obtaining By a false semblance.

The accused, along with two others, and Habibu Inuwa Inuwa Abdu, who are still on the run, allegedly conspired and defrauded the plaintiffs a sum of N1,520,000 (One Million Twenty Five Naira) saying he had a contract with Dantata Y Sawoe supply pipes for the company.

He convinced his victims by promising to share the benefit of the contract with them. However, research by the EFCC revealed that the accused never had a contract with Dantata and Sawoe.

One of the loads read

"This Jamilu Yunusa, Inuwa Abdu (generally) and Habibu Inuwa (in general) in the course of 2015 in Kano within the jurisdiction of the Honorable Court conspired between you to do an illegal act: obtaining false pretexts, The sum of N200,000 (two hundred thousand Naira only) of Nuhu Abubakar by the account of Skye Bank belonging to Inuwa Abdu with account number 3042263847 which was made pursuant to the agreement and therefore committed an anti-crime article 8 fraud fraud advanced fraud and other related offenses Act 2006 and punishable under Article 1 (3) of the same law ".

After hearing the indictment, the accused pleaded not guilty.

Defense lawyer Douglas Ijah gift asked the court a trial date, given the statement of the defendant.

Counsel for the accused Amina Umar Garba asked orally that the accused be admitted to bail.

The case was adjourned until January 5, 2017 for the hearing of the bail application. The accused was placed in pre-trial detention.
