For most people, a Christmas Eve call with the First Lady of the United States is an unexpected surprise. But Austin was waiting for someone else.

"I want to listen to Santa talk," Austin, one of a handful of kids who called the NORAD Santa track on Saturday and met Michelle Obama at the other end of the line said.

Santa Claus can not get to the phone, the first lady patiently explained, "because he honors all the gifts" - 3 million last morning in Honolulu, where President Barack Obama and his family are on holiday.
