Free Download Public Server Rooted For Raping A 14-year-old Girl In Abuja

A 31-year-old official, Eno Ita, was indicted on Tuesday in the Gudu Superior Court, Abuja, for raping a minor. Ita Nuwalege Village, Airport Road, Abuja pleaded not guilty to one charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The judge, Mr. Umar Kagarko admitted the accused on bail in the sum of N200, 000.

Kagarko also ordered the defendant to produce a reliable bond, which must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.

The prosecutor, Mr. Umah UNAH, who wrote to Mr. John Ijagbemi, was opposed to the bail application filed by defense lawyer Michael Olajide. "The violation is a crime, but we will leave it to the discretion of the court," he said. UNAH previously told the court that the victim reported the case to the Garki police station on 4 December.

He said the accused in the same direction with the victim, knocked on his door, as to send a message. "While she was at her door post, pulled her into her room, she undressed and forcefully intercourse with her without her consent," he said.

The prosecutor said the offense was contrary to section 283 of the Criminal Code. The judge adjourned the hearing until 13 February.
