Chief of Logistics of the Nigerian Army, General Patrick Akem, today revealed that the army has sent some of its officers to Argentina to learn cattle breeding as he plans to establish ranches of Livestock across the country.

Akem said the army would raise cattle ranches so that in almost all divisions and brigades all the beasts will be raised.

He went on to add that the army seeks to empower officers' women so that they can add value to the Nigerian economy and be independent.

"We want to tell our women who can live beyond the wages of their husbands, so we try to empower women in the barracks so that they can form cooperatives, access loans and largely they Can face for them and their families, even without the wages of their husbands, "said
